With the World Series over, the sports world and “into the night” turns it’s attention to Football, the NBA, and Hockey. With the word of the speeding and weed possesion charges against SF Giants pitcher Tim linceum, lots of calls and discussion about marajuana and buzzed driving.
We checked in with New York Giants tight end Kevin Boss who was getting iced up and ready for the 2nd half of the season. The NY football guys were caught up in the Yankees euphoria at Thursday’s practice, but Kevin says they need to try to turn around the recent skid which took them from 5 and 0 to 5-3 at the mid-way point of the season.

Tony also got into the early NBA season developments with Marc Spears of Yahoo Sports. Marc most recently covered the Celtics and talked about their 6 and 0 start but also delved some of the other early season story-lines like the Lakers, Cavs and the Allen Iverson on the bench in Memphis complaints.

And as always, Tony had Miss Robin give us some off-beat updates and we went to the phones to get the pulse of America’s sports fans.
