What a huge night for ‘Into the Night!’ We made our debut on about 250 new stations. And the stars were out to congratulate Tony.

First, Joe Buck called in to send his congrats to Tony on rejoining the Fox family. He also said ‘you know who’ wasn’t going to be back on ‘Joe Buck Live.’

Next, Ken Rosenthal made an appearance to talk about the newest moves in baseball. He congratulated Ken Williams on stealing away Alex Rios from the Blue Jays, and talked about if the Dodgers needed to add a pitcher to keep the Giants and Rockies at bay.

Following that, Jeannie Buss of the Lakers phoned in to the show, and is very happy to have Tony back on in Los Angeles. Not as happy as she was that Lamar Odom re-signed with the Lakers, but still very happy. Phil sends his regards.

Next, Jay Glazer joined Tony to talk about NFL camps, and of course, UFC 101. He said he planned on going to Eagles camp after UFC, but had a late night and wasn’t exactly ready to wake up early Sunday. He mocked Tony for asking him about news that the Eagles might trade for a backup tight end. He did say Tony couldn’t deal with a day of his training techniques.

Finally, Tommy Lasorda of the Dodgers called in from Michigan where he was hanging out with the Great Lakes Loons, an A-level Dodgers affiliate. He said Tony was a great Italian, and was very happy he was back on the air.

Thanks to all our great listeners, we took a ton of phone calls tonight, and had a mountain of well-wishes to Tony.
