Sad night in Philladelphia … but it’s always sunny here at Into the night. That’s right sport’s fans. We have a great show. Lots of news. Great updates. A grand old time. Tony saves good old fashioned radio again.

Can you name five Rangers? We tried. There’s Ranger Rick (magazine), Night Ranger (’80s rock band), Walker Texas Ranger (think Chuck Norris), and … not sure.

Rest-in-Peace boxing legend Alexis Arguello. From inside the ring to the political stage, Arguello was full of heart. The famed fighter is a legend at Into the Night and everywhere else.

Rest-in-Peace acting great Karl Malden. The actor is a Hollywood icon. From “The Streets of San Francisco”, to “On the Waterfront”, to “The West Wing”, Malden leaves a mark that will be preserved in his work, forever.

In the studio: Jason Matheny is upset that his golf score was not included in the blog from last Friday. For the record: Jason won four skins, and took home the tournament, the bragging rights, and the pride.

Lots of free-agent action. In the NBA, Detroit likely to sign Gordon and Villanueva. It looks like Portland will likely sign Turkoglu. In the NHL, the Blackhawks sign Marian Hossa to a 12 year deal! The Oilers sign Nikolai Khabibulin to a four year deal.

In the MLB Manny will return to the LA Dodgers on Friday. We had the Dodgers Third Base Coach Larry Bowa on to discuss the Dodgers and baseball and more.

Tony talks to Michael Lombardi, of NFL Network and CBS Sports.

We have a great update about a swimming-suit chick … say that five times.

Did you get your 1000 BRUCRU Chips with the Buzz of the Night and the Update of the Night?

Peace out. God Bless America.
