It was a Red Wine Friday… and we didn’t have any Red Wine in the studio! Outrage! Oh well, hopefully some of our friends from Northern California vineyards will send us some freebies.

Pierre McGuire of NBC’s NHL coverage joined us and talked some puck with Tony. Pierre won’t make any predictions on the series, but does think it will go more than six games.

‘Smitty’ from the Tonight Show Band joined us live from the afterparty of the final Tonight Show with Jay Leno. He couldn’t get us Jay or Kevin Eubanks, but we love him anyway. Did you know the rimshots we play on the show are actually recordings he did in his studio? What other show gives you that?

And finally PJ Carlesimo joined us to talk about game six. He showed up, but apparently the Nuggets did not. That put the Lakers in the finals against whoever comes out of the East. Everyone have a safe weekend and tune in Monday… Into the Night!

Hope you had a great Memorial Day Weekend. A lot to cover after the Indianapolis 500, NBA Playoffs, NHL Playoffs, MLB Interleague play and Jose Canseco fighting MMA.

A terrific Tuesday night show for you. The Orlando Magic needed overtime, but they beat the Cleveland Cavaliers 116-114 to take a 3-2 series lead in the Eastern Conference Finals. In the West, Lakers and Nuggets with Game 5 of their series tomorrow. Will the Lakers bounce back and win the series? Jeanie Buss, Executive VP of the Lakers will be on to talk about the team, her boyfriend Phil Jackson and her constant tweeting.

Do you know who the hottest team in MLB is right now? If you guessed the San Diego Padres, then you are correct. 10 straight wins for the Friars. Padres GM, Kevin Towers will be on to talk about his team and the trade that almost send Jake Peavy to Chicago

In the NHL, the Pittsburgh Penguins finish off the Carolina Hurricanes, 4-1, to sweep the Eastern Conference Final. The Penguins now on to the Stanley Cup Finals where they will face either Detroit or Chicago. Joe Beninati, the voice of the NHL on Versus will be on talk some puck.

It’s a Red Wine Friday, and we have a great show for you. We’ll follow the Red Wings/Blackhawks as well as the Cavaliers/Magic – you following me camera guy? We’ll also give you some great guests.

Tim Cates is out tonight, so the lovely Robin will stand in tonight for update duties, while I’ll provide colorful insights along with Tony. We’ll both attempt to hold Robin’s wine intake to one bottle – and will probably fail.

Greg Amsinger will be on to talk interleague baseball – and hair – with Tony. I wouldn’t quite call Greg’s hair a fauxhawk, but there’s definitely some product up in there.

Michael Lombardi of the National Football Post will also join the program to talk about his latest piece, where he claims the Jacksonville Jaguars should sign Michael Vick. As a Jaguars fan, I say he’s crazy. Michael Vick was a terrible quarterback his last few years in the league, and clearly the Jags don’t need that kind of a PR hit. So there Michael Lombardi, you’re wrong.

And finally we’ll be joined by Bob Harwood of Versus. He’ll break down game 3 of Blackhawks/Red Wings.

And of course, don’t forget about the Buzz of the Night and Update of the Night to earn some mega BruCru chips.

A terrific Thursday night show for you. Lakers-Nuggets Game 2 is going on as we speak. Can Denver tie this series up? The Pittsburgh Penguins skate by the Carolina Hurricanes 7-4 to take a 2-0 series lead in the NHL Eastern Conference Finals. Plus we have a full slate of games on the MLB scoreboard.

Pat Williams the Executive Vice President of the Orlando Magic will be on to talk about the team beating LeBron and the Cavs in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Series. Pat is one of the architects of this Orlando team, so you know he’s excited seeing them win.

Controversy this week involving the NBA and the WWE. Who will use the Pepsi Center on Monday May 25th…the Denver Nuggets or the WWE? Helping us break it down is WWE superstar John Cena. Tony better be careful or else Cena will suplex him or hit him over the head with a steel chair.

It’s Wednesday…It’s Hump Day and what a great show we have for you tonight. Tony will keep you updated on Game #1 Magic-Cavaliers and all the scores in MLB.

Michael Vick was released from jail today. Will he play in the NFL again? Will Roger Goddell reinstate him back in the league? What team would actually sign Michael Vick if he is allowed back? A man with the answers to those questions and everything else football, Dennis Green will join Tony to talk about Michael Vick.

The Major League Baseball season almost 2 months old. Who are the big surprises? Are the Toronto Blue Jays for real? Who has been the biggest disappointment so far? the SF Giants? the NY Yankees? Ken Rosenthal from FOX Sports will be on to break down all the latest from baseball.

The Lakers beat the Nuggets to take a 1-0 series lead in the Western Conference Finals. Can Denver bounce back in Game #2 tomorrow? Chris Anderson, the Birdman, from the Denver Nuggets is scheduled to join Tony talk some hoops. I’m sure Tony will ask him about the Pepsi Center showdown between the Nuggets and the WWE.

The Indianapolis 500 is coming up this Memorial Day Weekend. Some say it’s the greatest race in the world. Tony attended the Indy 500 when he was a youngster back in 1969. The man who won at the Brickyard that year, that’s right Mario Andretti. Mario, probably the world’s most famous race car driver will pop on with Tony to talk about the day in May back in 1969 and of course talk about this year’s Indy 500.

Don’t forget to get your BRUCRU Chips with The Buzz of the Night and The Update of the Night…..TUNE IN!!!
