Matt Kenseth Interview

Matt joined the show after his win at Fontana – one that wasn’t even rain-shortened. Matt said he didn’t really care what everyone said about his win at Daytona – he was happy to get this win.

Tony asked Matt if he ever let it get to him that he wasn’t thought of as the most outgoing guy in NASCAR, and Matt admitted it used to, but it doesn’t anymore.

The race wasn’t a sellout, and Tony asked Matt about the fans in California. Matt said he saw a big crowd out there and he was surprised how many and how loud the fans were. He said the economy is hurting everyone, including race fans.

Tony of course brought up Matt’s fandom of the Green Bay Packers, and asked if he was going to take the money from these NASCAR wins to buy some front row seats. Matt said the tickets are tough to get, but he does love going to Green Bay games.
