Charles Davis Interview

Charles Davis joined us live from Indianapolis, fresh off a visit to St. Elmo Steakhouse, which is the place to be in Indianapolis.

The DBs are the only ones left to go, and Charles says they’ll have a tough time matching what the wide receivers did. Obviously a big story is Michael Crabtree’s stress fracture, but Charles says he’s still a top-10 pick.

Next Tony asked about Andre Smith of Alabama, who didn’t exactly help his stock this weekend. Charles said the accumulation of mistakes is what can really hurt guys. This isn’t the first mistake Smith has made, but if he shows up big-time at his pro day, he’ll shoot back up the boards.

Mark Sanchez supposedly hurt his stock by what he did at the combine, but Charles still thinks he’s a top two quarterback in this draft. He noted Josh Freeman of Kansas State was a three-year starter and could be moving up boards.
