Buck Martinez Interview

Buck joined the program ready to get into baseball, only after he leaves his fishing boat.

Tony asked about the almighty ARod, and Buck obliged saying it’s a crazy story, especially with Bud Selig talking about it today.

Buck and Tony agreed the commissioner is full of it, in that everyone conveniently didn’t care much about steroids when the home runs were flying out of the ball park at a record pace. Buck is more interested in knowing how ‘anonymous’ test results were leaked.

On to baseball, and Tony asked about Ken Griffey Jr. potentially rejoining the M’s. Buck agreed with Tony that the time would be right for him to come back to Seattle. If he’s healthy, he could have a nice season.

They joked about what would happen if Griffey’s name shows up on the infamous 103-person list. Buck said it that’s the case, we all might as well just fold up our tents and go home.
